In the world of medical science, there are many discoveries that are beneficial to the future of medical science, so the need for it has become its own yardstick to deepen their knowledge in the field of health sciences.

Here are some amazing discoveries that contribute to the future of the health sciences and continue to be developed until now:

1. The discovery of vitamins
Vitamins are organic compounds that are required in the human body in very small amounts, usually less than 0.01 grams per day. Although only required in small amounts, but the vitamin is a compound that is very important (vital) for the human body does not mean that the vitamins contained in the body, then the body's health will suffer. Vitamins can only be obtained from outside the body, because the human body can not produce vitamins. With discoveries of vitamins, it can be used
humans to maintain health through the composition of a healthy diet and balanced.

2. The discovery of penicillin antibiotics
At the beginning of 1942, the British scientist Alexander Fleming reported that a substance produced by the fungus Penicilium named penicillin notatum possess the ability to kill disease-causing bacteria. Fleming noticed a petri dish set time he left. He found that colonies of Staphylococcus aureus that he scratched on a petri dish has been destroyed. Bacterial cell destruction occurred in areas adjacent to fungal contaminants that grow on a petri dish. He suspects that a product of the fungus to cause destruction Staphylococcal cells. The product is later named penicillin
contaminants such as fungus identified as Penicillium notatum.

3. Vaccine discovery

Vaccine was first discovered by Edward Jenner. Today, vaccines have been developed and refined by the application of biotechnology such as recombinant vaccines produced so that more pure and potent.

4. The discovery of monoclonal antibodies
Monoclonal antibodies can be produced by the method of techno biology. Monoclonal antibodies have advantages such as: highly sensitive, typical (specificity), and accurate. Monoclonal antibodies have contributed to perceived benefits especially in the areas of health research. Similarly, the widespread use of monoclonal antibodies for clinical trials including diagnosis and treatment to achieve a specific target cells.

5. Production of genetically engineered insulin
The hormone insulin can be mass produced with the application of genetic engineering methods, namely by inserting specific genes into the desired cells that had been cultured.
